Exhibits included a vibration-based fencing system to keep wild animals away from railway tracks, a smart dustbin that sends an SMS or app alert to staff once full, and a project on separating wet and dry waste at home. Teachers and officials appreciated the students.
Saripalli Nagaraju of Vizianagaram district, born into an ordinary farming family, has risen to become a government degree lecturer. Inspired by his elder brother, he studied a five-year integrated Telugu Pandit course at Sri Gorentla Venkanna College in Thimmasamudram, Prakasam district. He secured third rank at state level in the Language Pandit SET and completed MA and PhD at the central university in Hyderabad. He said he obtained three jobs in the 2025 DSC. He now serves as Telugu lecturer and in-charge principal at the government degree college in Rayadurgam, Anantapur district.
A mega job mela will be held on November 3 at the TNGOs Function Hall in Karimnagar, Vaishnavi Technologies chairman Kodityala Srikanth said. Around 100 companies will take part, with a target of about 5,000 jobs in IT, banking, marketing and technical manufacturing. T Prasadu and Jallipalli Murali Mohan were elected unanimously on Tuesday as mandal president and general secretary of the Forum for Physical Science Teachers. A one-day training programme for Sathupally division physical science teachers was held at the Zilla Parishad High School in Adasarlapadu, Vemsur mandal. Complex headmaster Srinivasa Rao said the new committee should guide efforts to strengthen physical science. Kolanur residents Dasari Naresh and Gajula Srinivas have written postcards to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy seeking sanction of a new government high school building. They said the existing structure, built about four decades ago, has been unused for five years after turning dilapidated, leaving more than 90 students studying in tin sheds. They sought demolition of the old building and development of the 800-metre Kolanur–Chinna Bonala road as a tar road. The CM visits Sircilla on the 30th.

Ashrit Talluri, a student from a non-resident Telugu family, scored 1,600 out of 1,600 in the School Assessment Test (SAT) conducted in the United States, taking the exam at the age of 14. His parents, Taruni and Ramanaresh, are from Tenali in Guntur district and moved to the US in 2008, settling in Georgia. Ashrit also plays chess and taekwondo and is training to fly chartered aircraft. He said he studied without stress and would fulfil his grandfather Talluri Subbarao's wish that he become a neurosurgeon.
Narsapur Government Degree College marked NSS Foundation Day with a "Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat" programme. Malti Akhilesh of Kutukudumilli in U. Kothapalli mandal, Kakinada district, has been offered Rs 1.06 crore a year as an AI engineer by Canadian firm Fabrantic AI. At campus placements held in May this year at Aditya University, Surampalem, 243 students appeared and only two were selected. He received the offer letter on June 20 and works from home. A stipend of Rs 30,000 a month applies for three to six months. His father Gangadhar, who has a hearing impairment, is a tailor.
