తెలంగాణలో వాయు కాలుష్య నియంత్రణ చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నా ఫలితాలు ఒకేలా లేవు. హైదరాబాద్‌లో వార్షిక సగటు పీఎం10 స్థాయి 2019-20లో 86 మైక్రోగ్రాముల నుంచి 2025-26కి 80కి తగ్గింది. నల్గొండలో 59 నుంచి 71కి పెరిగింది. సంగారెడ్డిలో 87 నుంచి 78కి తగ్గింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఎయిర్‌ క్వాలిటీ మానిటరింగ్‌ కమిటీ కాలుష్య మూలాలను గుర్తించి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించింది. క్యూర్‌ ప్రాంతంలో 13 కొత్త పర్యవేక్షణ కేంద్రాలు, ఎలర్ట్‌ ఎస్‌ఎంఎస్‌ విధానం ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నారు.
