RTA asks drivers to update current address on licenses
RTA officials in Hyderabad have asked vehicle owners from other states, who live in the city for work or business, to update their driving licenses with their current address. A special drive is underway across RTO offices to check licenses, as outdated addresses could cause problems during license renewal. Applicants can submit address proof online via the parivahan.gov.in portal, book a slot for document verification at the RTO office, and receive the updated license at home within 2-3 days.
