SKM condemns Delhi Police action at Jantar Mantar protest

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) condemned the alleged use of force by Delhi Police against protesters and journalists at Jantar Mantar. It said women protesters and three women journalists accused police of inappropriate touching during the action. SKM appealed to the Supreme Court to declare Assembly elections in Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam and Puducherry null and void, alleging they were based on voter lists prepared through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). It also renewed demands for the removal and prosecution of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
