ED raids 20 premises in Kerala over cooperative fraud cases

The Enforcement Directorate searched 20 premises across Thrissur, Ernakulam and Kozhikode districts in Kerala on Wednesday in connection with three cooperative society fraud cases. The cases involve Urban Co-Operative Society (Rs 55 crore), Thennela Service Co-operative Society (Rs 10 crore), and Kuttanellur Co-op Bank (Rs 27 crore), all accused of cheating through fake loans or unauthorized property transfers. The operation was conducted with state police coordination, officials said.
