Notification issued for 33 health department posts in Bhupalpally

A notification has been issued to fill 33 vacancies under the National Health Mission in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district medical and health department. Posts include 12 MLHP/CHO/MO Palle Dawakhana, nine staff nurses, five lab technicians, three second ANMs and one each in the remaining categories. Applicants must be aged 18 to 44, with relaxations for reserved categories. Offline applications open October 3 and close October 13. The fee is Rs 500 for General and OBC, Rs 300 for SC and ST. Selection gives 90% weightage to qualifying exam marks and 10% to age.

Short circuit sets off cylinder blasts, house gutted in Bhupalpally

A house was gutted after a short circuit triggered a fire at Mulugupalli village in Mahamuttaram mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Thursday. Mandapu Lachimallu and his sons Mohan and Prabhakar lived in three rooms of the same house and had locked up and gone for farm work when the fire broke out. Gas cylinders in the rooms exploded, destroying the house. Family members said cash and gold and silver ornaments were burnt. Nobody was inside. Firefighters, alerted by locals, doused the blaze.

Elderly man missing in stream while returning with pension money

Chitikela Ravinder Reddy, 65, went missing in the Chalivagu stream at Dwarakapeta in Tekumatla mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Saturday. He had crossed the stream with locals to Empedu village to collect his pension money. While returning, he told his companions to go ahead, saying he would follow. As he crossed, the flood flow increased and he fell into the water. Villagers and police searched with a rescue team, but he was not traced till evening.

No district will be abolished, says CM Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy addressed a public meeting at Chelpur in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district under the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata” programme. He said the government is not considering abolishing any district or creating a new one, and that any reorganisation would first be placed before the public and discussed in the Legislative Assembly. He termed claims about scrapping the Singareni Medical Board false, announced Rs 6,116 crore for erstwhile Warangal municipalities, and handed a Rs 205 crore bank linkage cheque to the Mahila Samakhya.
