Along with Parchur MLA Eluri Sambasiva Rao, she will lay foundation stones and inaugurate development works worth crores of rupees. A meeting with leaders and workers was held on arrangements. Members of the Walkers Association of N.R. & P.M. High School in Chirala marked their birthdays with service activities. Member Gurram Badarinath donated Rs 3,000 for distributing pulihora to devotees at the Perala Shivalayam on his birthday. Another member, Godavarthi Krishnamurthy, donated Rs 1,11,116 to Srikrishna Goshala, handing the amount to goshala president Devaki Subbarao. Both were felicitated by members. Two young men died of electric shock at Bommala Centre in Thotavaripalem, Chirala mandal, on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Katthi Issaku (22) and Tiruvidhula Shyam (21), residents of Vaikunthapuram in Chirala mandal, near the Jalamma temple. They had gone for daily wage work and were doing polishing work at a house under construction in Thotavaripalem when they were accidentally electrocuted and reportedly died on the spot. Rural police examined the site and shifted the bodies to Chirala area hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and an investigation is under way.
