Indian Oil employee stabbed to death while sealing petrol pump
An Indian Oil company employee was stabbed to death while he and his team were sealing a petrol pump in Maharashtra's Hingoli district, police said. The incident occurred at Ambachondi village in Basmat tehsil around 4.30 pm on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Mahesh Shelke. The pump, non-functional earlier, had resumed operations a few days back. An argument with the pump owner's family members and others present turned violent, and Shelke was allegedly stabbed seven times, dying on the spot. The reason for the dispute is not yet known, and a team has been formed to trace the prime accused.
