Trump offers US help over reported plague case in Russia
US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Washington was closely monitoring reports of a possible plague case in Russia, saying, "We're looking at it very strongly" and "we'll help them as much as we can". Reports that Darya Shipilova, 28, died of pneumonic plague after working at an anti-plague institute in Siberia's Irkutsk region raised laboratory accident concerns. Governor Igor Kobzev said she died of pneumonia of undetermined aetiology. Up to 200 people were reportedly quarantined.
