Bihar push lifts 'The Vvaan' box office past ₹46 crore
Folk thriller 'The Vvaan: Force of the Forest', starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, crossed ₹33 crore in its opening weekend and has collected over ₹46 crore so far according to the makers, with ₹50 crore expected by the end of week one. Box Office India reported a near ₹1 crore net opening day in Bihar. Trade analysts credit the film's Chhath Puja theme and the 'Chhathi Maiya' track campaign. Deepak Kumar Mishra directed the film.
