Political activity intensifies in Renigunta panchayat before local polls
Political activity has picked up in Renigunta panchayat of Tirupati district ahead of the coming local body elections. For the ruling alliance of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP, coordination at the local level and candidate selection are set to be key factors. YSRCP is likely to focus on mobilising its cadre and picking strong candidates. Party sources said YSRCP chief Jagan recently held meetings with leaders on poll preparedness. Sanitation, drinking water, drainage, roads and street lights may dominate campaigning.
