Stree Shakti crosses 100 crore free bus trips, says CM Chandrababu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said in a post on X that the 'Stree Shakti' scheme has completed more than 100 crore free bus trips. Launched on August 15 last year, the scheme is used by an average of 24 lakh women daily, he said. Women have saved Rs 3,550 crore so far. He said it supports students, working women and those travelling for daily work, and thanked RTC management and staff.
