Fire breaks out on ‘Ramayana’ set at Mumbai Film City
A fire broke out on Monday evening (October 05) at Goregaon Film City in Mumbai, where ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, is being shot. The blaze began in the PCR unit of a roughly 100-foot temporary set behind Prime Focus Studio, reportedly destroying wiring, cables, AC units, sound systems and shooting equipment. Fire personnel, police, BMC staff and 108 ambulance crews reached the spot and controlled the flames. Fire safety officials said there was no loss of life. Shooting on nearby sets was halted.
