Collector orders takeover of road land at ex-MLA Rapaka's house
The Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district collector has ordered that nine cents of land where a CC road was built in the premises of former Razole MLA and YSRCP leader Rapaka Varaprasada Rao's house be taken over and registered in the panchayat's name. The district panchayat officer was told the Centre had directed removal of a gate obstructing movement. In 2019-20, then Amalapuram MP Chinta Anuradha allotted Rs 12 lakh from MPLADS funds. Jana Sena leader Venkatapathi Raju's complaint triggered the dispute.
