Modi meets GSMA Board, seeks clear identification of AI content
Ahead of the India Mobile Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with members of the GSMA Board at Seva Teerth. He said technology must drive inclusive, sustainable development and be affordable and accessible, particularly across the Global South and at the last mile. Modi cited Digital Public Infrastructure as a force multiplier, urged technology-led solutions to cyber fraud and global standards for emerging tech, and sought mechanisms to identify AI-generated and deepfake content. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Dr Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar attended.
