INDIA bloc MPs protest at EC office, seek CEC's resignation
Opposition MPs led by Rahul Gandhi marched from Parliament to the Election Commission headquarters on Tuesday demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Police stopped the march near the NITI Aayog office, where Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and several MPs were detained and later released. The bloc also sought withdrawal of the SIR order and a return to ballot papers. The Election Commission and the BJP have rejected the allegations.
