Navneet, Ishika recall emotions behind Asian Games hockey gold
India's women's hockey players Navneet Kaur and Ishika have spoken about the emotions behind their historic Asian Games gold medal. The team ended a 44-year wait for an Asian Games gold in women's hockey and secured direct qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The two recalled the final whistle, the tears, the hugs and the overwhelming homecoming. They also spoke about the sacrifices behind the victory, and said they were looking forward to paratha with butter and long sleep at home.
