MP Mithun Reddy demands drinking water for Punganur
MP Mithun Reddy has demanded that the government immediately fill the Punganur and Madanapalle summer storage tanks. He said water was supplied to Punganur, Madanapalle, Palamaner and Kuppam during the five years Jagan Mohan Reddy was Chief Minister, and that the government declared these mandals drought-hit due to El Nino. He alleged the Punganur tank is empty while Krishna and Handri-Neeva waters are being moved to neighbouring mandals under police protection, calling it TDP discrimination, and said they were seeking drinking water, not irrigation water.
