Job trainee doctors to be allowed PG courses: Himachal CM
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu directed the Health Department to allow job trainee doctors to pursue postgraduate courses. Permission will also be granted for super-speciality courses, with bond duration and amount enhanced to ensure doctors return and serve the state. He said the government plans to send medical students abroad on exposure visits. Medical colleges were told to digitise MRI, CT scan, X-ray and ultrasound data by October 20. An expert committee will examine setting up centres of excellence.
