Telangana DGP suspends LB Nagar ACP Krishnayya
Telangana DGP CV Anand has issued orders suspending Krishnayya, who was serving as ACP of LB Nagar under the Malkajgiri commissionerate. Allegations against him included interfering in civil disputes and threatening several people. An inquiry ordered by the DGP found the allegations to be true. On learning of the move, Krishnayya was admitted to hospital citing ill health, took treatment for three days and went on long leave. He rejoined duty on Monday morning and was suspended that evening.
