Experts suggest ways to strengthen decision-making skills

Support may not always be available for decisions in education, work or personal life, says a report, noting that decision-making is not an inborn skill and can be learned by anyone at any age. It stresses self-belief, reviewing past decisions and taking time instead of rushing — an approach called 'cognitive reflection', which a recent study links to better decisions.
