Conditional bail for Uday Krishna Reddy in harassment case
Uday Krishna Reddy, arrested over the alleged sexual harassment of a fellow woman trainee IPS officer, was granted conditional bail by the Upparpally court on Tuesday. Attapur police had registered a case on the woman's complaint, after which he was arrested and sent to Chanchalguda jail. He spent 67 days in jail before the court granted bail following a hearing and arguments. The case also led to his suspension from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. Reddy had risen from constable to the Indian Police Service. The woman alleged he sent intimate videos involving her to her husband even after her marriage.
