Brent falls to $101.58 as supply rises; fuel rates unchanged
Petrol, diesel and CNG prices remained unchanged across India on October 5. Brent crude fell 0.7% to $101.58 a barrel at 8:02 am, while WTI slipped 1.1% to $90.14 as supply rose from two directions. G7 nations agreed on October 2 to release 100 million barrels of crude and fuel products from emergency reserves, with a large share of diesel expected in markets within 20 days. West Asian exports rose in late September. Delhi petrol costs ₹102.12 a litre and Hyderabad ₹116.15.
