Alliance, YSRCP contest for control of Alluri district
Politics in Alluri Sitharama Raju district has intensified ahead of local body elections. Despite the alliance's statewide win in 2024, the YSRCP retained the Paderu and Araku assembly seats and the Araku Lok Sabha seat, while being limited to 11 seats in the state. Giddi Eswari is the TDP's Paderu in-charge and Konidela Nagababu the Jana Sena's Araku in-charge. The alliance is focusing on international branding for Araku coffee and tribal employment. Analysts say the YSRCP cadre remains confident.
