Rs 32 lakh stolen from Axis Bank ATM in Shamshabad
Burglars broke open an Axis Bank ATM at Satamrai in Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad using gas cutters and fled with around Rs 32 lakh in cash. Police said the offenders entered the ATM centre after midnight on Monday, accessed the cash compartment and removed the money. The theft came to light after customers found the machine damaged and informed bank officials. A CLUES team collected evidence, CCTV footage is being examined and a case has been registered.
