Delhi court faults police over delay in MCOCA case arrests
A Delhi court has termed the report of the DCP, Outer North district, "absolutely perfunctory and a mere eyewash" in an organised-crime case. It noted that MCOCA was invoked in a September 2020 FIR against Mukesh alias Punit and Pardeep alias Guri, but they were arrested only in 2026. Three other accused remain unarrested after over six years. Special Judge Gaurav Rao sent his October 5 order to the police commissioner, seeking an inquiry against erring officials.
