MLA Humayun Kabir detained after voting in Rejinagar bypoll

Aam Janata Unnayan Party chief and MLA Humayun Kabir was taken away by Rejinagar police from his party office in Murshidabad as West Bengal voted in bypolls for the Nandigram and Rejinagar assembly seats, ANI reported. He had cast his vote in Rejinagar earlier in the morning. The seat, vacated by Kabir's resignation, has 2.57 lakh voters and 315 polling stations; Nandigram has 2.67 lakh voters and 323 stations. Counting is on October 9.
