Seven banana bunches on single plant in Konaseema
A single banana plant has produced seven bunches at Merakapalem village in Razole mandal of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. The plant, in farmer Elumarthi Baburao's orchard, drew attention after word spread to neighbouring villages. Local farmers said a banana plant normally yields only one bunch and that they had not seen such a sight before. Other plants in the orchard appear normal. Photos and videos of the plant are circulating widely on social media.
