BJP's eight Rajya Sabha nominees to file papers in Lucknow
The eight candidates fielded by the BJP for the Rajya Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh are scheduled to file nomination papers at Vidhan Bhavan in Lucknow on Tuesday at 11 AM. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak will be present. The party named eight candidates for 10 seats falling vacant, including three OBC, two Dalit, two Brahmin and one Rajput leader. Polling is on October 16.
