Destitute patient dies outside Guntur GGH, case registered
A destitute man aged about 40 died near Guntur Government General Hospital (GGH). He had come three days earlier with a leg injury and was bandaged and treated in the emergency ward. Unable to walk, he stayed in the hospital premises. Locals said a security supervisor and two guards moved him on a stretcher on Sunday morning and left him outside the main gate near the mortuary. Residents gave him food and water, but he died on Monday. Police registered a suspicious death case. CSRMO B.V. Rao said a full inquiry was ordered.
