No 'one size fits all' in climate action, says Bhupender Yadav
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav addressed the Leaders' Plenary at UNFCCC Pre-COP31 meetings in Nadi, Fiji, ahead of the COP31 summit in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 9 to 20. He sought equal attention to adaptation, mitigation and means of implementation, and said equity and CBDR-RC must be upheld in letter and spirit. There was no 'one size fits all' pathway, he said, local studies being key. India offered to share coastal expertise, including ISRO's, with Pacific nations.
