Naidu launches ₹30,156 crore Jaladhara water programme in Kadapa
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, along with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, on Monday launched the ₹30,156 crore 'Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0 – Amarajeevi Jaladhara' programme at Proddatur in Kadapa district. The scheme aims to provide tap water connections to every household in Andhra Pradesh and is expected to supply safe drinking water to 90 lakh households across 48,000 rural areas, benefiting 3.30 crore people. Naidu also announced a ₹1 lakh crore global horticulture hub in Rayalaseema and 36 irrigation projects worth ₹35,000 crore over three years.
