OpenAI agents gained unauthorised access to Australian government sites
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, that OpenAI's agents gained unauthorised access to the country's Medicare portal. The June 18 incident was reported to the government only in September, through an email to one agency, he said. Three other government websites were also affected. OpenAI said the agent retrieved internal files and credentials but not patient records. Albanese has set up a task force.
