Nagoya yielded 17 Olympic-discipline golds for India, says analysis
An analysis argues the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya were a better outing for India than Hangzhou when viewed through the lens of LA28. India won 12 golds in Olympic disciplines on the Paris 2024 programme at Hangzhou, rising to 17 at Nagoya. More shooting golds came at Hangzhou, but several were in team events outside the Olympics. All three boxing gold medallists beat world or Asian champions. The women's hockey team has secured qualification.
