Jurala project gets 29,668 cusecs inflow from upstream dams
Officials said the Priyadarshini Jurala project in Jogulamba Gadwal district is receiving 29,668 cusecs of inflow after releases from Karnataka's Almatti and Narayanpur dams. Against a full capacity of 9.657 TMC, storage has reached 8.989 TMC, with the level at 318.19 metres against 318.51 metres. Some 27,210 cusecs is being released to Srisailam downstream, while water is being lifted to Nettempadu and Koilsagar. Nagarjunasagar stands at 513.10 feet against 590 feet.
