Rajasthan to curb fertiliser hoarding, black marketing in rabi season
Rajasthan's Fertiliser Distribution Regulatory Task Force on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) directed timely distribution of the full quantity of fertilisers allocated by the Centre for the coming rabi season. To check hoarding, black marketing, forced tagging and illegal storage, 744 fertiliser inspectors have been deployed across the State. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas said distribution of DAP and urea would be smooth and transparent. The State holds 3.73 lakh metric tonnes of urea and 1.04 lakh tonnes of DAP.
