BMC to float Rs 6,000 crore concrete road tender in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation plans to float a fresh tender worth about Rs 6,000 crore for concrete road works in Mumbai, with construction likely to begin in December or January, a TOI report said. It will include works delayed under contracts awarded in 2023-24. BMC has cut Rs 300 crore from Nagarjuna Construction Company's Rs 1,600 crore work and Rs 85 crore from Eagle Infra India's. In 2023, BMC awarded five contracts worth Rs 6,080 crore.
