Yogi Adityanath outlines Uttar Pradesh's technology growth on X
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is shifting from a consumer of technology to a producer, in a post on 'X'. He said the state accounts for nearly 60 per cent of India's mobile phone production and 55 per cent of electronics components. He cited a Rs 3,706-crore HCL-Foxconn chip unit in Jewar, proposals for 644 MW of data centres, over 24,000 startups and eight unicorns. Under AI-Pragya, the state targets linking one million youth with new-age technology.
