India, Canada to open fifth round of CEPA talks on October 5
Chief negotiators of India and Canada will begin the fifth round of talks on the proposed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in Ottawa from October 5, an official said. The five-day round may end on October 9, after the fourth round concluded on September 18. Both countries aim to conclude negotiations by the end of this calendar year. Bilateral goods trade fell 8.23 per cent to $7.95 billion in 2025-26.
