Flydubai pilot's wife says she was devastated by attack news
Sonal Machchhar, wife of Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar, told CNN-News18 she was "very devastated" on first learning of the attack on her husband and initially lacked the "mental capacity" to process it. She said support from friends, family and updates from Indian officials eased her fears. She met Smit on Thursday and said he is under UAE and military doctors' care. The Tel Aviv-bound Flydubai flight made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after the cockpit attack.
