India must become creator of technology, says Minister Scindia
Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said the next chapter of India's digital journey is not about being a market for technology but about becoming a creator of technology. Addressing the Kautilya Economic Conclave in New Delhi, he said connectivity, compute and trust form a new digital trinity. He said India targets a billion 5G customers by 2030, from 500 million now, and that UPI, which began with 21 banks, now links 740 banks.
