Minister Savitha seeks public support to eradicate drugs
Minister for Backward Classes Welfare S. Savitha on Saturday urged the public to join hands to build a drug-free society, saying eradication was crucial to protect youth and students. She inaugurated a new Police Parade Ground at Penukonda in Sri Sathya Sai district, built with SRR Charitable Trust funds. Speaking at the 'Operation Trishul' programme, she asked people to report drug information on toll-free number 1972, and told students to prioritise education, sports and discipline. Collector A. Shyam Prasad and SP S. Satish Kumar attended.
