Lokesh outlines Andhra Pradesh strategy at Pan-IIT Summit
HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh's development strategy is centred on "speed, service and stability", with a focus on converting investment commitments into projects and jobs. Addressing the Pan-IIT Summit 2026 in Vijayawada on Saturday, he said 23 sectoral growth clusters were being developed and 4.8 GW of renewable capacity was added in a year. He cited the ArcelorMittal steel project, Google data centre and a proposed 5,000-acre greenfield airport in Amaravati.
