Rain to continue over parts of India till October 10: IMD
The India Meteorological Department has forecast unsettled weather across several parts of India on October 7 as multiple weather systems remain active. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may see rain, isolated snowfall and thunderstorms, with winds of 50-60 kmph over Jammu and Kashmir and 40-50 kmph over the other two. Heavy rain is likely over southeast Uttar Pradesh, northeast Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Sikkim, with rain in south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Activity may persist over southern and eastern India till October 10.
