Mutual fund assets grow 5% in Q2 despite market volatility
Mutual funds recorded nearly 5 per cent growth in average quarterly assets under management (QAAUM) in the second quarter of 2026-27 despite equity market turbulence. Amfi data showed QAAUM rose to ₹87.2 trillion from ₹83.1 trillion in Q1, the highest growth in three quarters. In July and August, active equity schemes drew net inflows of ₹54,000 crore, while total inflows across categories reached ₹2.8 trillion. September figures are yet to be released.
