Fake Form-7 complaint in Telangana voter roll revision, case filed
Allegations of Form-7 misuse have surfaced during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana. A complaint was filed with police on October 5 alleging that fake Form-7 documents were prepared to delete 31 voters attached to polling station 210 in Hyderabad's Musheerabad constituency. Rules state a vote is not deleted merely on a Form-7 submission; scrutiny, field verification and notice precede any decision.
