Odisha CM invites global investors into state's tourism sector
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has urged global and domestic investors to partner with Odisha in developing its tourism potential. He was inaugurating the three-day Odisha Travel Bazaar 2026 in Bhubaneswar, organised with FICCI. Majhi said master plans were being prepared for 15 marquee tourism destinations. Under the amended policy, the minimum room requirement for star-category hotels has been cut from 50 to 10 and the capital subsidy ceiling raised to Rs 120 crore. Subsidies worth over Rs 163 crore have been disbursed.
