Delhi High Court orders stray dog sterilisation in four more wards

Hearing a suo motu public interest litigation on stray dog management, the Delhi High Court directed the MCD and NDMC to begin sterilisation in four more wards. The Bench of Justice Dinesh Mehta and Justice Aditi Choudhary asked for a roadmap to be prepared and placed on record for the Court's approval. The Court said it wanted to sensitise the public. Amicus Curiae Gauri Maulekhi said 14 ABC centres exist and 2-3 more could be added. Next hearing November 3.
