Kavitha demands Vemulawada temple rebuild with Krishna Shila
Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has demanded that the historic Vemulawada Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple be reconstructed using traditional black stone (Krishna Shila) as per Agama Shastra, opposing concrete. Speaking in Vemulawada on Tuesday, she said the shrine should last a thousand years. She also alleged neglect of temple cattle, sought a judicial inquiry into alleged ₹32 crore irregularities in Sircilla Cooperative Electric Supply, ₹1 crore compensation for Nerella victims and 24-hour free power for farmers till November.
