YSRCP meeting in Araku; Regam Chanakya criticises coalition government
A YSRCP general body meeting was held at the Jaddipanasa community hall in Sunkarametta panchayat of Araku Valley mandal on the instructions of MLA Regam Matsyalingam. Chief guest Regam Chanakya, state vice-president of the party's youth wing, alleged the coalition government was vacating tribal villages in the name of a hydro project to enable bauxite mining. He urged voters to elect YSRCP candidates in the local body elections, and said ID card-holding workers get Rs 2 lakh insurance, with Rs 5.50 lakh extra to families on death, from the 1st of this month.
